Teaching boards are exclusive to Focus and Flexible. Create a board for 1 new session, then use 4 credits per active minute of voice teaching. Time is reserved in one-minute blocks, and pausing keeps unused seconds on that board. Drawing while paused uses no credits. Free and Plus do not include boards; saved boards remain stored and unlock when an eligible plan is active again.

Free includes 5 credits and 1 new session per allowance window; Plus includes 10 and 3; Focus includes 20 and 6. Flexible starts with 30 credits and 9 new sessions, with the allowance shown by the slider. Your credits and new-session allowance share a 24-hour window starting when you first use either allowance. After it expires, the next window starts with your next use. Viewing your balance or changing a model does not start or restart the clock. Unused included credits do not roll over. Returning to a saved session does not use another new-session allowance; starting a new draft after submission does.

Free chat uses Cheaper Model automatically for 1 credit per prompt, with no model selector. On every paid plan, choose Cheaper Model for 0.5 credit or Complex Model for 1 credit per prompt. That means 1 credit can cover two paid Cheaper Model prompts. The explanation and drawings are included; your balance can show half credits.

Free does not include quizzes. Plus generates and regenerates quizzes with Cheaper Model automatically for 1 credit per attempt, with no model selector. Focus and Flexible let you choose Cheaper Model for 0.5 credit or Complex Model for 1 credit per attempt. Answering, saving and marking a quiz use no extra credits. After a return to Free, saved quiz titles remain visible; questions, answers and results stay stored and unlock with an eligible paid plan.

Workspace Review and Challenge use no tutor credits on any plan. Your chat model selection does not change the cost of reviewing your work.

Bonus credits, including eligible referral rewards and Owner grants, are used after your included credits and carry over across allowance windows. A request can use a mixture of the two balances, including half credits. Bonus credits do not raise your new-session limit or unlock features from a higher plan.

Generate your reusable referral code in Account preferences and share it with a friend. An eligible new account can enter it during signup. After verification, activation and any required waitlist approval, the new account earns 10 bonus credits and you earn 4; both unlock the Aurora theme. Each new account can qualify once. Existing accounts and self-referrals do not qualify. Pending eligibility checks or a full bonus balance can delay delivery; check your referral status in Account preferences.

Regeneration creates a new attempt with new questions, keeping the original quiz, answers and results. It uses the retained quiz topic and question context; it does not recover or reread a deleted source PDF. Each new attempt uses the quiz credit cost for your plan and selected model.

A recorded tutor-generation failure returns its reserved credit cost. An interruption handled before any tutor text or annotation references are produced can also return that cost; stopping a response is not a blanket refund, and a partially produced response can keep its charge. Quiz attempts marked failed by generation or interrupted-generation recovery return their reserved cost. Closing a tab or losing your connection alone does not confirm a refund. Check your balance after the request status updates.

Only Free study areas can show ads when ad support is enabled; paid plans are ad-free. Test mode shows gray outlined placeholders without requesting a real Google ad or recording a real ad impression. Viewing a placeholder uses no tutor credits, and Test mode does not enforce ad-block restrictions.

Associated Free accounts may share their included allowance when sharing controls are active. If active allowance windows become linked, shared usage keeps the later existing reset time, which can extend the earlier account’s wait. Shared-device matches can be wrong. Request a correction under Free allowance review in Account settings; a request does not immediately lift the restriction. If an authorized correction is approved, other accounts’ usage stops counting against you; your own usage and original reset time stay in place. When network protection is enabled, a VPN or hosting/datacenter classification can restrict access. Classifications can be wrong; use the network-access notice and contact support for help with a false positive. An uncertain result or a lookup-provider outage is not treated as a confirmed network block, although a site configuration problem can temporarily prevent verification.

Focus includes 20 credits and 6 new sessions per 24-hour window for $10/month. Flexible starts at $18/month for 30 credits and 9 sessions per window. Every extra 10 credits per window adds $6/month and 3 sessions per window. Focus gives you the best paid value; Flexible gives you more capacity.

Review any prorated charge before confirming a change. Cancel in Manage billing to stop renewal and keep access through the paid period. Afterward your account returns to Free, unless the Owner has granted another plan. An Owner grant does not cancel an existing subscription.
